Right now I'm reading Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens. This copy was donated to the library, but I can see it's not "new-looking" enough to pass muster as a book sale offering, so it'll end up on the "free" cart. I've been curious about it for a while because we have four copies in the library and still can't keep up with the demand. And I think it's been filmed now for either a movie or series.
It's quite an engaging story...part coming-of-age tale, part murder mystery, and part nature story. I know it's a huge hit, so I hope whoever filmed it does it justice.

That was a really good book - I haven't seen the movie yet - hopefully it will be available on my TV one of these days - hope you enjoy it

Hi! I'm taking note of many of the books you're suggesting here. Most of them are unknown to me, but they sound interesting! I wish I had time to read all the books I wish to read!
I'm reading A simple Plan, by Scott Smith. A friend of mine recommended it. I've only read some 30 pages now, but I'm enjoying it.
Has anyone here read it?

Never read it but I have seen the movie - perhaps I should order it from the library?

Just finally finished Billy Summers last night - overall a pretty good read - near the end though I was Googling reviews which I should not have done as one of the comments was basically a spoiler.
Next thing I want to read is Fairy Tale - I have it reserved in large print but it will probably take a while to get here - I do own the hardcover but it's easier to read in large type.

I haven't seen the movie, but the book is getting more and more interesting (I'm now on page 82). It's an entertaining reading... that makes you wonder what would you do in a such a tricky circumstance!

I read Billy Summers last year and I really enjoyed it! I love when SK writes about writing, but the whole story is such a nice reading. Fairy Tale is also one of my next readings.

Just started reading Fairy Tales, hope to read a bit more in travels. I have the large type copy of the book on reserve at the library but I figure it will take a while before I get it. I own a regular type copy at the moment but I think I can be patient and wait for the one with the larger letters

Currently reading Grady Hendrix's novel The Final Girls Support Group. Fast paced, loaded with survival tips for all the Final Girls out there.
