Sirens Of Titan - Kurt Vonnegut
I watched a documentary of Kurt Vonnegut (Hulu) and it made me want to read one I haven't read in a long while. Just started it.

I haven't read that book by Vonnegut. Let me know what you think, please. I enjoyed Slaughterhouse 5; it was terrifying. Even the survivors of war don't really survive the horrors. The Band Ice Nine Kills gets its name from Cat's Cradle- a little trivia for you.

Some of the titles of these books you have been reading have some really interesting titles, why don't you briefly tell everyone what each one is about, lil Sis? That would be cool. Just a sentence or two.

Witch: The Cursed Manuscripts. By Iain Rob Wright.
This is one title that caught my eye, I'm wondering what this one is about....A Few Of These Authors I Been Reading Like Iain Rob Wright An Brian Keene Have Said They Look Up Too Stephen King An Respect Him. I Thought That Was Pretty Cool. (I'm trying to catch up here, and not get these 2 authors confused...)Some of the titles of these books you have been reading have some really interesting titles, why don't you briefly tell everyone what each one is about, lil Sis? Okay.... Iain Rob Wright, must be very versatile in what he writes about. Seems like he goes from 'Horror/Occult' over to 'Sci-Fi'. Thanks, Sis! 😊

Hey all, been a while. Still having a bit of readers block although I've been trying to work through it. I started an old non fiction book called Rush to Judgement by Mark Lane - a critique of the Warren report on jfk's assassination. Interesting topic, I love learning anything new about it, but its a challenging read - it reads like a list of facts and transcripts of police interviews and witness statements.
Had some better success with some short stories from night shift reading: Graveyard shift, Night surf, The boogeyman, Grey matter, Battleground, Sometimes they come back, and Strawberry spring.
Ive been getting urges to reread some king books, The Stand primarily but I decided to go down a different but similar route and try some other, non king post apocalyptic books. I've started Swan Song by Robert McCammon, never read anything by him before. Anyone read it?

Are you enjoying the celebrations this weekend in honour of the Queen's 70th?
We are watching it on TV over here but I wish I could be in London!
