Weekly Survey: July 5, 2019
I had a tooth out last year and the anaesthetic the dentist used didn't take effect, he injected my gum about 5 times and each time he started the pain shot through my jaw, after about 30 or 40 minutes I was getting really stressed so I bit the bullet and I lied and told him it was numb and to take it out, it was pretty bad.
2. When was the last occasion you were grossed-out?
I had minor surgery just below my ear to remove a lump, it was fine but the noise of him scraping some of the tissue away was pretty gross.
3. Do you wave at strangers? (I'm curious because we still do that in the South, although not as frequently as when I was a kid.)
Not in Dublin, it's not the done thing. Go down to some rural areas and you can wave all you like and not get starred at as if you're mad.
4. When did you get your first cell phone?
1999, it was hilarious, I was obsessed with texting people, after a while whoever I knew with a phone would text me back saying "Stop f**king texting me".
5. Have you ever ordered something from Home Shopping Network? (I'm thinking of pre-internet.)
Nope.

Many years ago, I told a co-worker I spilled oil based gloss paint all over his motorbike, man you should have seen him move, he sprinted over to where his bike was, he called me every name under the sun!!

A few times when I worked in retail. I've had managers bad mouth me in front of customers, which is so tacky. A sign of a good manager is one who keeps calm and corrects you in private.

awwww...ain't nothing wrong with that. She IS a wonderful person from all I've seen, and great friend material.
lol, so are you.....when you're not FREAKING me out! Just kiddin' Kidd. You're plenty cool and funny as all get out. I agree about Morgan. She was one of the first I met on the SKMB a few years ago. She can always make you smile. I am blessed to know her and value her friendship too.
