Call me Muskrat, former host of a long cancelled horror comic now collecting unemployment insurance and searching for his lost pet mugwump, Dr. Catdander—if you see him, please drive em home. Reward? A milkcase full of Charlton war comics and one hardly used tube of Fosterburg’s Eyebrow Cream. What’s shiverin’, boils and ghouls? Horror we? How’s bayou? Heh heh heh. .....sorry to hear about that unemployment line thing going on. Dang, you said you were liking that job you'd started......and that Strawberry blonde girl. The Corona mess the culprit? Hope you and son are doing alright through all this. (And the tooth isn't an ache any more.)
We're holdin' tight here, and ridin' the storms out, like always.
We've got 10 or 11 open your days left on the SKMB, before the final shut down on June 30. (I think 10 or 11.) Do saunter on over there and check as much as you can, muskrat. People been missin' ya. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/6943779/images/FQLorEvsFDxIUuVVMyKE.png)

Well, sometime today I should have over a couple grand backpay on my stupid unemployment card, and once that kicks in I’m gonna make a Logan’s Run for more Soylent Green and the biggest damn bottle of booze I can find. And smokes...dear god...been rolling up old butts and givin myself who knows what kinda trash lung cancer, koff koff...
Other than that, things are...well...could be worse, I suppose. Had me an interesting dream about Ginger Rogers last night, so there’s that.

Look how long they managed to stretch Little House on the prairie. Trust me, that series should have lasted 3 seasons and yet it went on for nine.

.....almost ready for a supply run myself. Been awhile since I got out. My sun has been bringing home the milk and other fresh stuff, after work. (Very thankful that he has been allowed to keep working, during the shelter in place/quarantine.) He has a good little system going, he keeps a cooler iced down on the work truck, and shops during his lunch hour when there aren't many out and about. It's about time for another restocking. Probably going to raid Sam's Club in a day or two.

I find it unbelievable that they could keep that book going for six seasons of television. I had never heard of it before then. Edward John, think about it. I seriously doubt that the series was about the events in the book "The Dead Zone" I imagine it was about other adventures Johnny had. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/6943779/images/FQLorEvsFDxIUuVVMyKE.png) Lady spideyman , liked that show very much, if I recall correctly. May she'll know. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/6943779/images/FQLorEvsFDxIUuVVMyKE.png) I never saw it myself. Hmmmm....is there a thread for it in TV and Movies? I'll have to look. Ah yes, TV showrunners who think they can add upon books … too many of those. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/6943779/images/FQLorEvsFDxIUuVVMyKE.png)

I believe it was done by the Pillar brothers, who worked on a series of Star Trek related shows. Plus, Steve's TV writing is questionable, he did do The Shining TV Series, which was … weird.

I dunno he’s the first writer listed, that may just be for the original story, but he probably had some involvement with a long running show based on his property. Not like you can’t adapt on an already established story, either, I’ve heard Ash vs the Evil Dead is good, although I haven’t watched it as I’m horrible with dedicating myself to watching a tv show.

IMDB is notoriously unreliable, I checked Wikipedia, which is also questionable but they also confirm that Steve was not involved. I don't think Steve get's involved in many adaptions, there are exceptions of course, but I think he was too focused on writing then. You can adapt an established story, but when people start adding to the plot then usually this is when problems occur, not always of course, but Game of Thrones? Ash is different because Raimi and his brothers were involved in the series, Sam wrote and directed the pilot. The series is pretty good but it's not for anyone who dislikes horror, that would rule out Ms Mod. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/6943779/images/FQLorEvsFDxIUuVVMyKE.png)

Although Wikipedia gets a lot more flack from teachers than it deserves, as its moderated and quality controlled.

Personally I liked most of the Dead Zone show. Yes, it went on a bit too long in the end, but most of it was good stuff. I would recommend it.

Stephen King was a writer on that show He was a writer on Under the Dome I think....didn't save it lol He wrote the premier of the following season, I believe that he was offered to continue on as showrunner but, of course, he was too busy. The show probably would have ended much better than it did with Steve involved.
