Its a very sad day.... After more than three weeks in intensive care at the hospital my friend Lena passed away yesterday. Thank you all for the good wishes you sent. I am still in shock. Somehow i had expected her to win this battle. The whole day feels surreal/unreal. I have extreme difficulties to wrap my head around the thought that i will never see her again.
I lost a dear friend last year, so I understand how you are feeling. It's difficult to accept that they will never be around again.
Hope you find the strength you will need in these difficult days. |

I think he means turn a school into a temporary shelter/living area for residents who live around the area with the bomb.
If you don't know where to go, you can go to the shelter, get something to eat
and spend the time there.
There are also medical staff for elderly people and those in need of care.Ohhh 😰

We don't get evacuated wolfie.
The ordnance was found in a district 2 miles away.
I hope the workers and other people around there, 2 miles away are okay.

No, I'm at home.
But the temporary shelter (the school) is
just 200 m away.
There's a lot of traffic, private cars, ambulances, sirens, flashing lights etc.  |

It's gonna be a long night.
Evacuation is delayed because some people refuse to
leave their houses. It's always the same. I remember when i was the leader of an archaeological excavation in Leipzig that i was informed about the possibilities of finding grenades/bombs from WW2. I got a specific number to call if it happened and strong orders to stay away from it until experts decided if it was a spent round or not. We actually found one and i had to stop work around that find for a while. Luckily i could redirect the excavation to the opposite part so we didn't had to stop work completely. It was taken away in the afternoon. |

Here's an update:
The Sun got a new starter for his girls car today.
And got it installed with the help of a good neighbor,
who is a master mechanic.
All systems go on that, and I am making good progress on the current work I'm doing. Thank God. 🙂
