July 9th already - only 10 more days until the big King Kon in Maine 
What kind of strange smiley/emoticon would this one be?  - I figure it must be a ninja (just noticed it now)
Just going to check on the tomato plants on the back deck which are getting really big. I bought several varieties so it will be interesting to see how they turn out. I have five big plants right now growing in very large clay pots.
The teeny tiny ones that are still on my window sill probably won't get a chance to produce any fruit [or is that a vegetable?] - Anyway I did start a few plants from seed just because I bought this five dollar kit from Giant Tiger more or less as a laugh. I was surprised they even sprouted!
One of the plants that came with the tomatoes is sweet basil plus I also have a small oregano plant that is growing on the window sill. Fresh oregano is very good with spaghetti sauce.
Although the cover shows a nice juicy burger, I think I might just go for the lobster roll
Wow - just realized that is a lobster burger!! (Lobster burger? that seems to be a bit of overkill but maybe they are good)

I have a card reader on an old laptop that I have never had problems downloading pics until now. My newer laptop has no card reader.
Any ideas???

I wish I could help but I'm afraid I am clueless when it comes to digital cameras, card readers etc. I can barely figure out my Smart phone when I hook it up to my PC 
Man - it is so humid here! We've had rain and I decided to open some windows and turn off the AC for a while

I wasn't going to mention anything because I'm shy, but today is my 8 year anniversary (memberversary  ) on the SKMB. Joined July 11, 2010. Nate was the first person to personally welcome me to the board on my profile page. Been thinking about him a lot. Probably because the Kon is right around the corner too.

I have a friend with a July 13th birthday and we throw Friday the 13th parties for her every time it falls on a Friday (like this year). Always so much fun. We're dragging out the Pet Sematary decorations and fog machine this year. |
