Has anyone else started The Institute? Has anyone finished it? I'm not even halfway through, but I have cried. As achingly painful as Jake Chambers, something the Avester said broke me down. Sai King writes so beautifully of children and their emotions, actions and reactions.
Long days and pleasant nights.

I'm nearly finished listening to the audio book, it's really good, definitely has a Firestarter vibe to it, it's hard not to get worked up when reading about the cruelties inflicted on the children in the story.

He dedicated the book to his grandchildren. Completely enjoyed the book.

Finished it, a good one for sure, I thought it was a mix of Firestarter with a hint of Oliver Twist if that makes amy sense.

I'm about halfway done, and I'm loving it so far.
If anybody notices any Dark Tower connections, please let me know. I haven't spotted any yet.

Just started The Institute and I am enjoying it a lot - I find it so much better than "Sleeping Beauties" which was the one he wrote with his son Owen;
I'm just at the beginning (wish I could just read it straight through without any interruptions, but life gets in the way)

Last night I had an Institute nightmare again. Wasn't a pleasant experience, but it does mean that it's a fantastic book. ???
