Wolfy... don't look Ravenous (1999)
(I once met the real Lynn Compton portrayed in the movie Band of Brothers)
OH My Stars and Flamin' Garters!!!! LMAO! I wasn't going to look! But when I quoted and went to post it opened the spoiler!!! Dang it! GOOD ONE Notaro! lol, I did see Ravenous a few years after it came out! The Sierra Nevada was going to through me off too. Wow, thats cool you got meet L.C. Met him and Sgt. William Guarnere (Wild Bill) at the same time. Wild Bill was a feisty character in real life. He had lost his leg during the Battle of the Bulge and was sitting at a table when I talked to him. I asked if I could take a picture with him and he said I “needed to get my a*s down here” if I wanted a picture. In Major Richard Winters’ autobiography he referred to Guarnere as a "natural killer.” You would never had know it when I met him late in life as he just seemed to be a cantankerous and humorous guy.

The commanding officer...Jeffrey Combs right?
Btw.....Hi Dio. Sorry Wolf I'm afraid not, it was Robert Carlyle's character Colonel Ives/ Calhoun. Nice try though, you're tenacious. Thats right! I should have remembered that! Ives is a Scots name.
What movie did a character by the name of "Ives" star in with Steve McQueen? A war movie.

Okay, here goes: Sir!... Sir!... Here's a good stick, to beat the lovely lady. The Man Who Would Be King? Nope. John Wayne played the character the woman was speaking to... that uttered that line. My mother was also in that scene... And she was responsible for making sure the director didn't catch Wayne and his costar rehearsing the scene before hand, but the director did catch them rehearsing it and gave my mother the shhh sign with his finger. Mom was too afraid to tell Wayne and his costar that the director caught them.

Maureen O'Hara went to school with Gran and her sister where Notaro is at in Bray. I'm not good with Eires geography, but I remember Gran and Aunt Nuala and my Great Gran talking about Kilmashogue very often, Notaro.

She watched over Wayne’s two kids during filming and was Wayne and O’Hara’s unofficial personal assistant because the two actors didn’t trust the assistants Johh Huston provided them.
