Sorry I was absent the past week or so. I've got some new early morning work hours and have been adjusting. Anyway,
For May 15th we will stay with Algernon Blackwood and discuss The Willows. It's 40 pages so we will take an extra week

Another, compelling story by Blackwood, i thoroughly enjoyed.
Beautifully written, imaginative, strange,
atmospheric, creepy and dreamy.

A true horror story. Blackwood description of the Willows as an "unearthly region"only adds to the fear the story contains.
Very enjoyable. Some Lovecraft influences too.

I just finished listening to SK’s “Laurie”. Got some cool hit’s on the KINGO card.😊❤️ 👏👏👏
A favorite line : “….Calling from a rest area somewhere in the wilds of alligator alley…” 😊 (Right after that I thought, “don’t you do it Stephen! Don’t you do THAT! I swear to god, I’ll cuss you out so bad they’ll hear me all the way from Maine to Florida!”  ) Bethie : “f**k his allergies!” 😂 Poor Don. 😰 Poor brave Lloyd and Laurie. 😰 Poor mama gator. 😰 A series of most unfortunate events.💔 Really awesome King characters in this little adventure. 😊 Well, Laurie and Lloyd didn’t get turned into gator scooby snacks, so no cussin’ you out good King Stephen. 😊 ….this time. 🤨😘
