The Eclipse yesterday got me to thinking about both SK’s novels : ”Gerald’s Game” and “Dolores Claiborne” and the tie in/crossover of the events during the eclipse.
Dolores and Jessie shared an uncanny bond that day. A kind of psychic link.
What are your thoughts on it all tet?
Looking forward to hearing what you’ve got.

SK had planned a few books based on the day of the eclipse but only wrote the two. They definitely shared a moment at the high point of the eclipse, the only actually supernatural moment in other books. I think he would explained on what it meant if he'd done more with it.

Hmm. I'd have to re-read both books, wolfie. It's been many and many-a, as Roland would say. As I recall I liked Dolores and did not like GG at all. Time might have changed my perspective, however.
Since we only had about 80% coverage here, the light was similar to the light as a thunderstorm approaches. The cats were acting more unhinged than usual, but that might have been because of the chicken I was cooking.

All of mine were acting noticeably nervous for no reason, and jumping at nothings, all morning.
(you know how cats can freak themselves out sometimes, lol)
They usually don’t do that very often.
It was like they could sense something out of the ordinary was brewing.
