Did anyone watch the show?
I hated how the “first woman doctor” was originally introduced. But I did like the first show of the season.
But I have a really hard time understanding what she is saying. I’m going to rewatch with CC on because I know I missed some lines.

I think Andy used to watch this show way back when (God knows how many decades ago that was!)

I thought I'd include this so we could see how she speaks - is it her accent?

Thick accent and speaks quickly. Lots of humor in the character. Might be losing BBC as changing cable package.

Yes, accent is so strong, and one I am unfamiliar with. I would prefer to just watch with CC on, but hubby doesn’t like that. So, until I get used to it, I’ll rewatch later.

Watched Doctor Who when I was a kid back in the 70's, my Doctor of choice was Jon Pertwee, I kept watching after he wad replaced with Tom Baker but quit after he left, I've seen the odd episode since it started back but haven't seen any with the Jodie Whittaker.
