Can I "double like" this one?
I like classical music - much easier to listen to - I can take some hard rock occasionally but after a while it starts to annoy me

Err...I kinda thought ALL music was ‘feel good’ music. I mean, what’s ‘feel bad’ music? Five Finger Butt Punch? Heh heh. Anyhoo, I get whatcher sayin. Here’s a little ditty that always brings me up when I’m feeling blue:

Cool. Does she ever sing any of these songs, too? I wanted to at least hear her say, “ Panama-hah-uh-huh-ooh-hoo”

She has some original songs, but does not sing on them. Even since I discovered Nita Strauss (most excellent guitarist for Alice Cooper), I've been very interested in lady guitarists. I'm completely against the false, outdated notion that rock and roll is a man's game.

I take that back. I've been interested in lady guitarists since Nancy Wilson graced my ears in 1977.

Wasn’t she like 15 when she did Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree? My Gram said it was a big deal because this tiny little teenage girl came out with her big booming voice and sang a rock n roll Christmas song. People had never seen a girl perform anything like it before. God bless her ‘ cause we might not have people like Nita Strauss without her.

Not a guitarist, but as you know, Debbie Harry was the game changer for me. Finally there was a lady in a band and she didn’t wear long evening gowns or sing in a smooth ,soothing alto voice like Karen Carpenter. Not that there’s anything wrong with The Carpenters. They just didn’t supply what I needed in my life.

When I heard Magic Man coming from my one speaker radio during the summer of 1977 courtesy of a Chicago radio station, I saw the future of rock and roll, and it was women. Then came the Runaways. Then Debbie Harry (whom I was madly in love with). Next, Joan Jett, Pat Benatar and so on. I have SOOO much respect for all the ladies of rock and roll.

True story.
Eddie van Halen's first choice to replace David Lee Roth was Patty Smythe of Scandal. She turned them down for being too drunk.
I kid you not.

I kid you not. That would have sounded awesome, but do you think VH fans would have accepted her? Somehow I can’t see the fans being ok with her as the “ frontman”. Wouldn’t it have blown their whole image? ( Kinda like when Dolly Parton was gonna join Kiss..haha...oh wait that was an urban myth.)
