The Olive was a cute short story about fate. Will never look at an olive in the same way..Noted that the line within the dream, as well as in real life were the same-- destined to happen. One could even consider it a tad "magical".

Sorry, I finally got to it.
I was not expecting this gentle tale from Algernon. It is well written and my take is it's a story of chance or chance and destiny.
"If it had rolled elsewhere-and another had picked it up?"
