It`s about 5am and game is ready to start, was thinking if they win it`s bit early to get drunk. Plus I have to face the public in a couple of hours, so will wish them good luck instead.

WOW! What a game from Iran! To put on a performance like that after the last match and everything that's going on back home ... respect! I'm so happy they went through; I don't like the Wales team at all. They shouldn't even have had a point going into this game! They were terrible against USA (and Iran) and wouldn't have gotten a draw if not for man bun USA defender!
I have no idea how the referee didn't immediately send the Wales keeper off? It was a full on karate kick! Dude thought he was Jean-Claude Van Damme! It's a joke that professional referees would make a decision like that, they're too reliant on VAR!
Anyway, Iran scored a great goal via Cheshmi. It was a great strike that reminded me of Saudi Arabia's first goal against Argentina. And then Rezaeian dinked one over the keeper on a break-away.

Joe, this makes the USA's game against England later today VERY interesting. USA will have to get a result against England AND Iran. With Iran's goal difference, they may solely have to settle for a draw if they can get a draw against England, but even with a win, its essentially going to be a knock-out game with Iran and USA!
Bye, bye, Wales! Bale and his man bun are on the first flight home.
