“Pappsatt means I'm full to bursting"
lol, that’s cool, thankee Boss 😊 Last night I was watching a video about true crime posts on Reddit. The YouTuber had a series of stock images and vid cycling on the screen for the duration of the content.
One picture caught my eye, it was graffiti on a brick wall under a streetlight. It said :
”Die Nacht ist jung.”
I didn’t look it up, I’m thinking it says,
”The night is young.” ? 😊

“Dingsbums” = “whatnot”
That’s what gt gave me on ‘dingsbums’ Frank. Is that right? Or close? 😊

“thingy” is also a good translation.
"Dingsbums" is widely used when you don't know how to call a thing, which you might not be able to point at.
It'S a very, very informal word (if it can be called a word at all).
"I’ll have to go to the shop and buy a new dingsbums. This one is broken beyond repair.“

”thingy” or sometimes you might say “thing-a-ma-jig”😊
…you know! That damn thing!…. The “whatcha-muh-call it”!😆😉
