I read Silence of the Lambs but none of his other books. You? Read Red Dragon as well but none of the other two Hannibal books as I find them to have Harris losing touch with the series. I’m hoping this new one is better than the last two books. |

My dad showed me, I’m hoping Harris can write a book that’s the level of quality of the first two lecter’s instead of the last two. |

I read Silence of the Lambs but none of his other books. You? I read Red Dragon when it was new. Oddly, I thought I was a young teen when I read it...but it was published in 1981... Anyway, I loved it. Then when I saw Silence of the Lambs I remember it, so went back and reread as well as reading Silence. I don’t recall reading the other two, but wasn’t impressed with what I saw...movie or series? Don’t remember. |

An absurd amount of children’s medications in the early early 20th century contained cocaine as an ingredient. One of them was gumdrops sugared with coke advertised with the intention of them “Increasing your child’s alertness in school”. Yeah, it’ll do that alright, maybe a little too well |

A horrific sight at a Miami condo this morning
This is an older building close to the ocean and I've seen instances where balconies on these old condos have come down but never anything like this. What I've seen happen with the balconies I mentioned is that water (and salt from the ocean) will get in a crack and rust the rebar and the concrete will come loose from the rebar and with a balcony there is a lot of weight hanging out there and it can tear loose. But, I've never seen anything quite like this. I didn't see any mention of bad weather going on when this happened.

There is some new video and this is way worse than I thought. When it was first reported, I though just the front of one side of the building collapsed but it's much worse when you see this video. I'm afraid there are going to be many dead with this. It happened very early in the morning.
