My go-to fast food joints are Chick-fil-A and Chinese takeout. Zaxby's, too, because it's clean and within one mile from my house.

There's a really small hole in the wall Chinese place I discovered accidentally while hanging out with friends and bruh it was amazing, went back there a few times. Hope it's doing alright with business during corona.

Hi, Dizzy . Some folks one likes to see coming, and other folks one likes to see go. You are in the first bunch. Your posts are a bright spot on this board. spideyman is another optimist around here.
One thing I'm looking forward to: going to sit at the end of the driveway this weekend and have a mini yard sale (90% books). Might as well make a few bucks while catching some rays.

It's my niece, Alivia Morgan's tenth birthday. My mom and I took her to B&N to buy a book and a cupcake from the cafe.
I brought a birthday balloon and one gift into the store (a cubic zirconia key/heart necklace and matching earrings). Then she picked out her book.
Made a Papa Murphy's cheese pizza for her at my mom's place and gave her two more gifts. An interior design book for children (that's what she wants to be (right now) when she gets older) and one of my favorite things ever, my gypsy lamp. It is brasstone with encrusted and hanging faux crystals. When the room is dark and the lamp is on, they shine and sparkle like a carnival ride or a gypsy's glowing tent. I pray she's old enough to appreciate and take care of it. I choked up when I gave it to her. I just kept thinking about how I would've felt getting a gift like that at her age.
Haven't been in the best of health as of late and want to bless as many loved ones as I can. It was a good day for that. Happy Birthday, my sweet Liv.

Ten years old seems like the right age for her to appreciate such a personal gift. Girls at that age are typically more mature than boys, I think. I hope you are in better health soon. You are always thinking of, and doing for others.

Good luck with the book sale. Be careful you do not take in too much sun. Thank you for the kind compliment. Zen and Pooh go together!

I stopped at a garage sale today and scored a few SK DVDs for fifty cents each - all in excellent condition. The Tommyknockers, Rose Red, The Night Flier, 'Salem's Lot (original), Storm of the Century, Silver Bullet and Maximum Overdrive.

Whoa, that’s my kind of garage sale. Enjoy ‘em! Riiiiight?! It's a first for me. I can count on one hand the times I've sourced a SK treasure locally. Our thrift stores are the worst and there's only one used bookstore (the size of a shoebox). Shouldn't expect much more in the middle of nowhere I guess! So I am over the moon about my SK finds today.
