Bachman/Backman, don`t known why I have always used the name Backman, as it`s not correct, maybe it`s because of the song, you ain`t seen nothing yet, I don`t really know why. Lots of authors use an alias to get an indication of peoples motives, I will change and use the correct wording and pronunciation, even if to me he is always be Richard Backman.

I found out about this only Friday, Stephen has something to do with (producing? directing?) a new Chuckie horror film in the franchise that's being shot in a town called Fairhope across the Bay from Mobile where I live.

Stephen King’s Dollar Baby Program Has Come To An End
Beloved horror author Stephen King knows how hard it is to get started in show business. This is why for the last few decades, he granted aspiring filmmakers and theater producers permission to adapt his short stories for $1. While King retained the rights to his work, and the adaptations could not be shared commercially, it allowed many people a chance to practice their craft. However, sadly, like all good things, The Dollar Baby Program has come to an end. The initiative disbanded earlier this month.
