"How many miles to the gallon does that thing get? "
Name two food items you don't like. Celery and Liquorice......absolutely repulsive both of them.
If you were told you could spend 15 minutes with someone from any decade in history past of present and ask them anything about anything in the allotted timespan, who would you choose and why?If I could meet anyone in history it would be Henry VIII and his 6 wives. I know I have many, many questions but my first would be...... 'What were you thinking??!?!!? Name your favourite book (any author). The one you would read over and over again.

Shoeless Joe by W.P. Kinsella or Delta Wedding by Eudora Welty.
What is the funniest or strangest thing to happen to you while traveling?

What is the funniest or strangest thing to happen to you while traveling? Seeing my name and Happy Birthday in the same sentence on the Waco, Tx. "TwinPeaks" restaurant marquee sign, back in 2009. It was a pleasantly strange surprise when I needed it.
What is the strangest happy thing to happen to you recently?

What is the strangest happy thing to happen to you recently? In the college summer league I have been umpiring for the last month and a half in the fifth inning of a 2-1 game the first baseman, from Colorado no less, turns around and suddenly tells me that my partner and I are the best umps in the whole thing.
I was speechless...
Well for a second or two...
How old were you when you had your first kiss?

How old were you when you had your first kiss? What a great compliment thekidd12 !!
I've told this story before. In the seventh grade (how old is that, 12ish? ), a really cute guy was walking me home from school. He kissed me in the alley and I ran away! (I'm still scared of boys, but am less frightened of back alleys and gutters now! Lololol)
Question: What was your first job?

First job was in a supermarket chain that used to be here called H. Williams, it was a summer job so I could get some cash together for an upcoming holiday, I remember I was transporting a few dozen bottles of soft drinks (7up, Coke, Fanta etc etc) in crates on a trolly when the trolly hit something on the ground and all the crates toppled over smashing every single bottle , I was standing ankle deep in fizzy drinks, funny now but back then......not so much
Question; Aside from a family member who is the person who has influenced you the most in your life?

(LOL>>>I had something similar happen to me when I worked in a grocery store. I was seventeen. I had a mop lying (or laying? I always get those confused) in a shopping cart and the handle jutted out on the end. Someone said, "Boss is coming!" and I instinctively swung cart around to go the other way and the wooden handle swiped a whole shelf of peanut butter, jelly, pickles, and other breakables like a thumb strumming a harp. I was amazed that not one jar fell but the sound was horrendous.)
I've had an embarrassing surplus of influential people in my life but if I had to pick only one, I'd point to my creative writing teacher from freshman year. She was Jewish and somewhat of a hippie. She wore peasant skirts, flip flops, and had a spongy mane of hair sheathed in a pony tail. I had to be around fifteen but she treated us like adults and every day in her class was a lesson in surprises. We wrote constantly and she taught us that we must be vigilant and present in our lives. (She staged a scene in the middle of class where a clown burst into our room did a U-turn and exited in a blur; we had to shake ourselves and write what we remembered.) Life isn't what happens to us, necessarily, but what we do that effects our surroundings. Mrs. Klein was her name.
What's the most frightened you've been in your life?

What's the most frightened you've been in your life? When my brother was run over by a car. Scared for myself - every time I've been in the ER or hospital.
Do you have a classic family vacation story?

Do you have a classic family vacation story? When I was around 7 or 8 years old we went to the beach in my parent's 1965 Impala SS. My sister who is 6 years younger found daddy's Red Man chewing tobacco somewhere in back seat. She decided to eat it. Threw up all in carpeted floorboard of car without AC in a place where it stays 90 degrees all the time. Windows stayed down whole trip and 3 hour drive back home.Have you ever been a protagonist in a road rage incident?

Twice - I've followed bad drivers for a while, thinking I could scare them. Dumb. You can't scare idiots. One of them threw a whole bag of trash out the window and I called the cops. I hate sucky people.
How many great friends do you have?

Yes, but I tell people if I'm re-gifting something. And it's mainly because they would utilize it more, and it's always a "Just Because" gift. Not for birthdays, Christmas, etc.
When was the last time you yelled?

When was the last time you yelled? First thing this morning! The BOY, changed my news channel, then hid the tv remote AND the computer. Just the usual grins and giggles going on, lol.
