St Lucie county got moved to hurricane warning and I'm still in Tropical Storm warning. We are getting some bands now with several tornadoes having touched down. |

We are under a tornado watch until 9pm There was a tornado a few minutes ago very close to me. Too close. The Vero Beach area is really getting hammered. They have had numerous tornadoes and 9-10 inches of rain today.
I have never seen tornado activity like this in South Florida. We get a small stray one once in a while but nothing like this.

It's beautiful up here in north Georgia...perfect early fall weather. It's hard to believe there's a hurricane one state away. I'm sitting here watching Ryan Hall's coverage. I hope our Florida friends will be safe, because it's probably too late to run.

The band that was causing all the trouble has finally moved off shore. We are clear for now until the next one comes through. It's been rough today and the hurricane hasn't even got close to us yet. |

Here, even when the winds are really howling, you can hear the tornadoes ‘roar’ when they’re close by. That ‘freight train’ things happens when they’re going over head. I’m trying to imagine what it’s like to have that going on WITH a hurricane going on. ☹️💔
I got to charge up my phone for a little while. I hope we get to see Lady post again soon.
