Winter has arrived now.
We had Frost last night.
Temperatures going down to 2°C/35°F during the day and -6°C/21°F at nights smilie_wet_014
But at least, the Sun is shining

Same old days are sunny and war, 60F/ nights low low 30's. Two days sun/ a day and night of rain/ repeat.

How many appendages were lost? None that I am aware of - those runners are in pretty good shape plus they dress warmly - I guess when you're moving and circulating blood there is less chance of damage, however the risk of frostbite on exposed skin is still there.

It's a balmy minus 14 degrees here which is a big relief. Glad that extreme cold temperature warning is finally over.
Correction - it is minus 20 with the wind chill which is still better than minus 40!
