wireman Glad you are safe and I hope your house is okay. Hoping everything is alright with thekidd12 . Continued prayers for everyone in Dorian's path. We are doing ok. Winds steady 35 mph with gusts to 45. Rain started at 9:30 this morning. Been fairly steady since. Power flashed a couple of times but still on. We are right at the outer band edge.
Can't believe I am saying this but more worried about Sundrop's BF...
Yeah I said it...

Hey everyone! Our place is doing ok. We are a bit north of Hatteras where the eye made landfall. They are having severe flooding, and the sound side is flooding as well. The local radio station just mentioned a recorded wind gust of 91mph!
I heard from Sundrop that her BF is ok! Thanks to all for the good wishes, safety vibes!
Will check in again later when it's moved farther past us and we know more. Love to all!!

Yeah I said it... I wondered how y'all were doing. BF is fine. He had a small willow tree snap, but he was gonna cut it down anyway. His place looks good otherwise.
.....and I'm gonna tell him you were worried about him and said it out loud right in public and everything!!!

Now it is tracking though Eastern Canada
Last report was that many went without electricity in Nova Scotia; trees uprooted etc. but no reports of loss of life, which is great
Here's an update:
"A total of 211,000 Nova Scotia Power customers remained in the dark Monday morning, as of 6 a.m. AT. "
"Two days after Hurricane Dorian swept through Atlantic Canada, hundreds of thousands of people still have no power, leaving schools and some businesses closed Monday."
"After weekend ferry closures, Marine Atlantic is keeping an eye on the weather forecast in hopes of getting its crossings back on track Monday.
Dorian's storm system is tracking more than 150 nautical miles off Newfoundland's Northern Peninsula, into the North Atlantic."
