@notaro - are you getting any sleep yet? That is worrysome. I do hope your doctor is on it! I have a little experience with that and exhaustion will do you in. Prayers for you friend!!
I saw Eddie Money at a little club in Murray KY way back in 1987 (possibly 86) - can't remember a doggone thing about it. But one of my favorite songs of his is "Save a Little Room in Your Heart for Me". I also like "I'll Get By" The Ogre watches his show - and I watch along at times - the last one I watched - Eddie was loosing weight effortlessly and just tired and drained all the time. They went to the dr, and that was the cliffhanger - the dr said, that's just not normal - he'd been trying to get him to loose weight for years and suddenly it's happening with no effort - not a good sign. And that was the cliffhanger. So sad. His family must be so so dad.

The needle of the dial scrolls across the face of a Delco car radio somewhere...
....passing through static.....audible audiobible blips...bleeps.....odd boop....and then....."This is Rock and Roll radio" declares Joey Ramone quite quickly....moving on.........static.....blip.....
And there he is!
...through the tinny distortion of the microphone and the less than perfect speakers, comes suddenly the rich smooth suave intonations of Henry Leydon, DJ extraordinarre loved by all generations (especially generation X) 
...... his Lark hangs onto his broad Kasmir zootsuit clad shoulder humming softly, his cool shades glinting in the twinkling lights, fedora atilt in a slight, winningly cadish way. Smile is wide and devil may care. He's happy. He tells us:

Health has been 'touch and go' for awhile. Recently I had been looking up polymeter and one example I found was "Touch and Go" by The Cars... in the verses the bass and drums play in 5/4 and the vocals, keyboard and guitars in 4/4 before they lock into the same 4/4 time during the other parts of the song..... the guitar anthology of thier music I have sidesteps this altoghether by only transcribing the guitar, keyboard and vocal, which stay in 4/4 the whole time. This study I was doing was just a few weeks before Ric died....
