I think Jacob Tremblay could play Leo Rockway. It occurred to me while watching Room.

How about Stu and Frannie? I used to think Sam Worthington or Tom Hardy, and for Frannie, maybe Elle Fanning or Shailee Woodley. Frannie is eighteen or nineteen in the book.

The problem I'm having is that the younger actors are just too attractive to pull off the descriptions from the novel. For example, I was thinking about Freddie Highmore (Bates Motel) as Harold Lauder. He can play "creepy" very well, but he's too handsome. Probably too old as well, but he looks younger than he is. Then again, Rob Lowe was cast in the miniseries, so maybe I don't know what the h*ll I'm talking about! h050 Hey, after that Dark Tower fiasco...why not? Sir Anthony Hopkins can play a rat or weasel in the corn. LOL. |
