I always like to have a few toasts tucked away. I have some German relatives and I use it to try and impress them, ham that I am, but they usually chuckle so I must be butchering the words LOL. I always thought it meant " Life is wonderful, you just need to see it through the right glasses."

That's a lot to remember when you got half a buzz going on. My standard Irish toast is "May you be half an hour in heaven before the Devil knows your dead."

LOL. I like that one! I'll use it tomorrow. My one daughter that was a German exchange student in High School will appreciate it with her glass of Riesling. |

Mayhap she knows this phrase, it`s very commern in northern germany.

She stayed in Hesse, specifically in the town of Gladenbach. I guess that's in the center of Germany, right? Although they were legally allowed to drink, the High School forbade the students from partaking in any forms of alcohol as it is illegal at their ages here in the US. 
Yap, Hessen is in the center of Germany.
This might be a bit off topic but I saw on The Amazing Race recently that they have something called Beer Yoga in Germany - have you ever tried it Frank?

Nope. I live in Pennsylvania. The program she was in involved family exchanges between two schools, one here and one in Germany. A girl from Germany came here and lived with us for a semester and went to school, and the next semester my daughter lived with them and went to school.

When you get really nice and relaxed
from a good alcohol buzz, you get really flexible.
Makes it easier to avoid serious injury,
when "mishaps" might happen.😄😉
Doctors everywhere still scratch their heads
over how some drunks have survived and walked away
from stupid accidents like jumping from high places.
.....and wiping out like Eddie the Eagle on water skis ....right diobolic Dio? 😆😄😉 |

Got the liquor store run over with!
Missons accomplished, stocked up for the long holiday weekend. 😊 
Saw my sun off,
as he was blazin' out of town
to go good ol' San Antone.
And I went back over to the SKMB, to pay a visit.
So glad it is preserved,
and the Langoliers can't ever
come gobble it away,
even though there are a few dusty
old tumble weeds blowin' around here and there.😊

This 2020 Thanksgiving,
I am just as grateful for all those very same things and so much MORE.
Last Thanksgiving I made those posts with a Smart(a*s) TV remote.....
This year I am so happy and blessed to be typing this post with a new computer!
An early X-mas present from a most wonderful, beloved friend, who got sick and tired of watching me muddle through with different devices, like my TV remote and tablet.
I am so happy and grateful!
All I was asked to do is to have fun with it, and do good work on it!
I am going to do my very, very best to do exactly that.
I am so sorry that many of you, my friends, have had such a rough time this year,
and I promise to keep you all in my prayers, good thoughts, vibes and good wishing and willing always! a054
