Thankful for second chances.
Making Thanksgiving again for all family members willing to brave the threat of the coronavirus. Got a recipe from a friend who figured out my mom's Thanksgiving liver filling. Made a test run last weekend and it was damn near perfect. So thankful for that because I thought that filling was lost forever.

Naeh, thanksgiving (Erntedankfest) isn`t a big deal here,
it was on October 4th.

Bought my turkey and probably 90% of the rest of the food for Thanksgiving yesterday. Still need desserts, rolls and fresh produce.
Invited our oldest and his family of 5. And of course the next oldest and his girlfriend. (🙄) I wanted to have my dad and stepmother over too, it was so nice having them here last Thanksgiving, but with the virus exploding here and where they live, decided against that. 😒
Only (almost) 2 weeks away already!

THANKSGIVING!😄
Got A LOT to be Thankful for this year! 🙂
Had a really good week, last week, and a great weekend!
Got a couple of big pans of Breadcrumb and Cornbread dressing/stuffing/filling made up last week. I have them in the freezer, for my sun to take with him when goes out of town to my mom's.
And this weekend I got all the sausage rolls and mini-mincemeat pies all done, and in the freezer too! Just have to take them out and bake them when the time comes. Same thing with the pans of dressing, for Mom. I did that so she wouldn't have to work too hard, and ....honestly...she doesn't know how to make my Gran's/Great Gran's breadcrumb dressing/stuffing/filling. She just never got around to learning. And my kid is going to bake a couple of loaves of Soda Bread for her while he's there. He's gotten really good at it! It's just like my Great Gran's! I'm proud of him. 😊
(Yes DIO! I'm calling it "Filling" too! 😄😉)
Not making pumpkin pie from scratch this Thanksgiving.
But I might make an "I Robot Pie" from scratch for Christmas!
Sweet Potato that is, lol my sun has been calling it "I Robot Pie" since he first saw the movie when he was little. 😄
