Those are beautiful little black birds Commander osnafrank . I like their brilliant colored beaks. I love all the birds too.
Can't forget all the beautiful creatures in the seas and oceans! mammals and fish alike, and all the other beautiful things and creatures. 🙂
(gotta have some goats and lambs and ducks and and chickens come along too. I really do love all animals.)

I Like These a lot too Manatees do you guys think they are Cool an Cute too? View Attachment One time I was playing golf in Miami and I hit a shot that headed straight for a canal. The ball bounced off the water and landed on the other side. We were all dumbfounded. So we move on and cross over a bridge and there was a massive manatee swimming just under the surface. We figured out the ball bounced off it at the perfect time. It saved me a penalty stroke. 🤣

We saw a few in Florida back when I was visiting the in-laws (they used to live in Spring Hill) - at that time they were trying to get people to recognize that sometimes the manatees could get injured by boat propellers

This is my favorite bird to visit my bird feeders. The Blue Indigo Bunting. So vibrant. They seem to like safflower seeds best. But they've been pretty illusive this year. I wish they'd shed some feathers for me so I could tie up some Ailewife fly patterns for smallmouth bass.

River Otters are just too cool. They were introduced back into northeast Pennsylvania in 1980. One time my brother and I were canoeing down a Class 3 river north of me. We stopped at an eddy and watched otters playing all around us for about a half hour. The didn’t seem afraid and were rather curious, coming right up to the canoe.
Later that day we were shot at with a shotgun that blew leaves in a tree above us to smithereens... jumped out of the canoe and swam it down river a bit. Also crashed into a huge rock trying to maneuver a nasty bit of rapids sending us both into the water and losing most of our gear. Had to do some repairs on the canoe and my brother got a nasty gash in his leg on something he hit in the river. I patched it up as best I could because the medical kit was taped to the seat and got him back as soon as I could to get properly taken care of. I found one of the paddles down river a bit and had to make another out of a log, duct tape, and the top of my cooler I found nearby which allowed us to continue. He developed complications later as he found out he was allergic to the Neosporin I applied. Fun times.

Sure insects count as animals. I hate, hate, hate this recent invader to Pennsylvania from the Far East.... the Spotted Lanternfly. The infestation started in my neck of the woods about two years ago, and still hasn't spread to the entire state... and they are already destroying $50 million a year in crop and tree damage and is expected to go to $324 million a year in short order. Every business must have a designated person go through training and become familiar with the the hazards caused by the insect. I'm the person that was certified for my company. It is almost a mandate the state that every person kill them when they come in contact with you. I must have killed over 1,000 this year. Luckily they're slow and stupid.

Awww! That's so cool Frank! 😄 Here, they say if a lady bug lands on you, it's good luck. I hadn't seen that story before, I noticed the date was July 2018. Thanks for showing me that one! I came back to the SKMB on 4/24/19. 😊
