Personal paper shredders must not have been a thing yet when this story was written and Dinky had to use the garbage disposal to shred his money.

Steve should be careful ... that's slight narcissistic behaviour. ....words spoken by an expert as formidable as Dee S. 😊😘 If I was Dee Snider, then I would be too busy talking about how We're Not Gonna Take It is the greatest song of all time to be posting on a forum.

Or, the writer had no idea what those new fangled things are!

Or, the writer had no idea what those new fangled things are! I don;t think they were around yet. I don't remember having one until well into the 2000s. I probably paid a fortune for the first one too. I found a receipt a while back for the first fax machine I bought. It was in the early 90s and I paid over $700.00 for it (adjusted for inflation would be around $1,300.00). It was one of those crappy ones with the thermal paper where the ink would disappear after a couple of years.

Hard believe now, but they were revolutionary. Many things that had to be done using snail mail could be done by fax and save about a week or two of time.

I like this story. I think it serves well as the title story...Everything's Eventual...it is just a cool title. Everything's hunky dory. Everything is chill. 🙂
I think I need a DT reread. I kind of remembered Dink. But not this story...since no mention of DT was in the intro, he made the decision to use Dink more after this story was written? Early version of the breakers. Also reminded me of The Institute.

Also reminded me of The Institute. It did actually remind me of The Institute as well. Before you re-start DT saga, I recomend you check out the Marvel prequel comicbooks, they are excellent.
