Have come to hate the word 'chap'. Before I read the Dark Tower books it was a pleasant word. Now I think of Mia and her chap and I can't even look at chapstick without thinking of that. Blechhh. *shivers  |

His SKMB and the members there have helped me get through a tough time in my life and helped me to appreciate the good things in life and how lucky I am - how it is important to have hope and to look at the positive side of life in general.

I got your postcard, Neesy! Thanks..it made my day. If you are a postcard person I’ll send you some from us here in Derry NH. I mailed them all on Monday morning the 23rd so I guess most people in the States have theirs by now.
There were also two to Canada and one international.

Because of Stephen King I drove all the way to Toronto and back, back in October of 2017. He and Owen were promoting their book "Sleeping Beauties".
It was actually a lovely trip, going through the States, with all the fall foliage. It was warm when we left but then started to get colder on our way back.

Because of Stephen King I became much closer to my girlfriend who let me borrow Salem's Lot paperback back in 1979...
Ended up marrying her 7 years later and we are still together...
