Yes! Every time I see a documentary, I wish I could be there just to say hello to that Wavy Gravy guy. Watch out for the granola. it might be laced with something.Hahaha I like when Country Joe scolds the crowd,"Listen people,I don't know how you ever expect to stop the war if you can't sing any better than that." For a split second, it sounds sensible and then I say to myself, "Wait...whaaaa???"

I'd actually like to go further back and see Blondie at CBGB. That goes for a lot of bands--the early days are usually the most fascinating to me. Yes to Blondie! Also, VH and the Crue on the Sunset Strip
And...AND KISS in Amityville!!!!Yep! Any Kiss show during or before the Destroyer tour would be fine with me. This is later, but I wish I could have seen the Ramones at the US Festival.

This was me on my way there (I'm probably in that pic somewhere)... My friends brother and his friend figured once traffic stopped over the NY border there was no way to make it there and get home the same day so me and his younger brother wouldn't get in trouble for disobeying our parents wishes (as they wouldn't know). Me and my friend were 12. So they turned the car around and dumped me and my friend off at my house and they headed back and hitch-hiked till they got there. I got in so much trouble when they dropped us off. And my mother never let me forget it till the day she left us. I was 10 that summer. My mother never let me out of her sight. So you were a precocious hedonistic pre-teen!If by precocious hedonistic pre-teen you mean if I wasn't playing some sport, fishing or riding my bike everywhere I was listening to some serious rock music, drinking beer and whiskey, smoking cigars and playing poker with my senior HS friends... then yes. I remember trying to convince my parents Woodstock was was going to be as much an art festival as music concert and I was really interested in creating psychedelic art, especially in the Peter Maxx way, at the time. But they were having none of it. Damn news at 10 pm.

Next Saturday at the drive-in theater down the road from me they're having a Metallica virtual concert. And you have to pay money for it. Ticketmaster even sells them. Really? On a screen and you listen to the music out of your car radio. Haven't people heard of YouTube? Not a concert I'd ever regret missing.

Their Ticket Prices are always extraordinary especially since they have become a part of the mainstream (Black Album).
In 2006 i had to pay almost 150€ for a ticket in Hannover and it was one the worst place in the arena.
They where the first Band suing Napster back in the days. Metallica has become a monster when it comes to money but i still like their music, especially the old songs.
What do you have to pay for this "event " diobolic

The concept of the drive-in concert...to practice social distancing.
5 or more people crammed in a car is far from it.
