wolf YIKES! I said that the wrong way - cry yer pardon! "Yer So Bad" lyrics begin with "My sister got lucky, married a yuppie, took him for all he was worth" - it's the Ogre's sister who's getting the divorce. The very ugly no good horrible messiest divorce I've ever had the displeasure of having a front row seat to. I never knew anyone could be so mean -there are two kids - our nieces - suffering through - and it looks like it's never going to end - she married and yuppie and is doing her best to take him to the cleaners. And he's digging in and I think it might end up in court - 18 months after the whole mess got messy.
The Ogre & I are good - I wouldn't trade him for a million bucks. We've been married 29 years and I am more smitten now than I was when I met him. He just gets better looking every day. He takes good care of us - me, the three kids, 2 dogs, 3 guinea pigs, his mom, my mom - all of us. No doubt he's an Ogre but he's rock solid as a husband and a father. I look forward to seeing him at the end of every single day.

LOVE LOVE LOVE: Toto! Don Henley's "Building the Perfect Beast" - the soundtrack to my life 1984/85 - Sunset Grill & Not Enough Love in the World : swoon. Of course, the mention of All She Wants to Do is Dance - always reminds me of Bags of Bones. And then The End of Innocence in 1989: Don Henley and Jackson Browne narrated my life.
Ballroom Blitz - YESH! I saw Krokus perform that eons ago - they opened for Kiss in 1985 - I was so hardcore (eyeroll)

Ohmy, I LOVE this thread. It is really funny how these musical savants defined cool back in the day! ANd of course comparing that to nowadays and we'll look it when we are old and tone deaf. Today, well the last few days, have been all steampunk music for me. This page was a nice short break. Now back to steampunk

Got to check this tune out later on the tv, Notaro. Volume doesn't work on the laptop for some reason. lol, boy probably blew the speaker out long ago.
wolfbear , what is "Steam Punk"? I got a general idea of what it is, relating to artwork, but I don't think I've ever heard it. If I have, I didn't know it. Lol
Been listening to my first love in music most of the day: Classic Rock. Especially LedZeppelin and AC/DC.
I think I want some of Roger and the boys tonight:
"Who Are You" "Eminence Front" "Baba O'Riley" "Behind Blue Eyes" "Love Reign Over Me" "Won't Get Fooled Again" -The Who-
