Is the lead singer of AC/DC from Ireland or England? I never noticed his speaking voice.

Seger's best, I think. I like the chord progression and the echo of background singers. Unbeatable lyrics. I can play the monkey grease out of this song on piano; it's fun to play and sing. LOL

Until about 2013 I'd never head any of their songs. Maybe one or two? My girlfriend was a huge fan and she'd play track after track in the car asking if I'd heard it. "What about this one?" she'd ask. "Nope," I'd say after each song. I really like them now. I don't know how I overlooked them. Pink Floyd is another band I didn't know until I came to the SKMB. Not a fan of them (him).

It was such a great time in music… hearing for the first time new songs just out by the likes of The Who, The Beatles, The Stones, The Kinks, The Animals, The Yardbirds, Donovan, The Dave Clark Five, The Moody Blues, Herman's Hermits, Manfred Mann and others.

Oh yeah, I dig all that kind of music, too. My dad graduated in 1969 and he was the first to introduce me to it. I was raised on "Oldies" music, but my affinity is for '80s music because that is more my generation. Nowadays I listen to a healthy mixture of Sixties, Seventies, and Eighties on YouTube.

Thanks, man. There are a bunch on that list I've never heard and there are a majority of them I do know. There is an optimism and innocence in this music and there's almost a peaceful feeling one gets after a while. I don't know, it just leaves me in a good mood. One song on this list is one of my favorites because I have certain memories of where I was when I heard it. "A Summer Song" by Chad and Jeremy. Kind of hokey and folksy, but I like it. Folk music is a unique thing all its own. I will look up some of these on YouTube.

This is a song I shared the other day. I'm not sure if it belongs in The British Invasion camp, but I like The Association. "Never My Love" and "Windy" were great, too.
