To borrow a phrase from Misery, so vivid, describe the part(s) in a King novel that you saw clearly as a vision. I have several, but I will start with one not many people mention. It's from Pet Sematary. When Ellie dreams of Louis sitting at the kitchen table in the morning and he's either dead or a zombie. It's a brief part of the book but I remember seeing it in my mind and my arms prickling. The scenes with Timmy Baterman, too. It can be any scene that you think is so well written that you had no trouble envisioning it. It doesn't have to be scary. Vivid!

I've been pondering this. The first two that came to mind are from Bag of Bones.
Right before and after what happens to Mattie. It was as if I could feel Mike's emotions and adrenaline. Also, the sexual assault scene/passage is incredibly vivid IMO.

Wow, I forgot about that scene. Completely agree. This is exactly what I'm talking about, Morgan, thank you. Every now and then King writes a vivid scene like this and he takes the reader so deep, so immersed are we, that we come gasping to the surface for air.

I like the parts where Mike has dreams about Sara Laughs and the sunflowers springing up through the porch and how these visions return when he finally leaves Derry and moves in.

Wizard & Glass Citizens of Mejis screaming Charyou Tree at Susan as she’s burnt alive whilst poor impressionable Roland can only watch in pure, guttural horror from the pink wizard’s rainbow crystal ball

How do I make that spoiler thing plz? Use this Button to insert a spoiler. (The "Quite Smilie" in the Editor Bar above) A Window appears, where you can name your spoiler but this is optional.
Click "Add Spoiler" and write your text between the spoilet tags.
