The Regulators scares the hell out of me. I can't think of a fictional character that scares me more than Tak... except maybe Ardelia Lortz from The Library Policeman. To your list, I'd like to add:
The woman in room 217 The 1958 Plymouth Fury Arnie Cunningham's acne.

Arnie gives me nightmares. The actor was also in All That Jazz...another movie that scarred me for life.

I haven’t read many Bachman books but I did enjoy The Long Walk; started Rage but don’t think I finished it. I could start again as I have that book that is a collection of 4 Bachman books.
Would you say Bachman was Stephen King’s alter ego?

Sure, alter ego is a good way to put it. I think of the Bachman books as being more raw and unpolished....the way a good band sounds before they can afford fancy producers . I just looked to see if I had a copy of The Long Walk-- I do not. I'll have to pick that one up--I'm glad you brought that to my attention.

Blaze is one Bachman's best, in my humble opinion.
His Books aren`t as scary as the SK Books but they contain more (everyday) violence.

I Picked
Pet Semary...Especially that One With the Timmy Bateman an Gage Creed Getting Back to Life an Possesed it was Very Disturbing...an the Part About Rachels Sister too
Also Desperation because it One of my Favorites ever an if You Read it im Sure You would Agree it really Creepy for a lot of Reasons. Great an Creative Story though!
Also Salems Lot because the Way the Vampires were All Discreet in Taking Over the Town Right Under The Peoples Noses Like that...Reminds Me How Easy that Could Happen.

Pet Semetary is without a doubt the scariest book i ever read. Had nightmares for years. IT is scary. And so is Misery but it was not there to vote on so i chose The Shining instead.

Salem's Lot to me is still his most terrifying book. I've read that thing dozens of times over the years, first when I was 12 (I'm in my forties now).
It's the one King novel I absolutely will not read at night.
