I did, I was called The Nameless. There would have been one of 3 reasons, 1, I liked how anonymous it was, 2, I thought it was cool (I think I joined that place when my age still started with 2) 🤦♂️, 3, I was too unimaginative to think of something else. Probably all 3 actually.
Now I'm older, it's like "meh, I'll be me"

It is very like a thread from the old SKMB, that I have been contemplating on resurrecting.
The original was titled "What's you handle"......I think that's what it was, it's been a long time. It might have been something like that.
And I do believe I recall correctly that it was started by madammack .
A very well known and we'll loved member, PatriciaA. , Smiled and Said something very similar to what you have said Anthony,
".....not very imaginative, I know...."
That was when I said, "No Purrrrtricia! You just left it alone so we could have fun with it!" 😊
My good friend P. replied with another smile, "......yeah. that's what I did." 😊 😉
Another post I made in that thread was about Spideyman.
After reading many other people's posts, I had to say that out of us all, I thought Spidey's name was the very best.
Because unlike so many of us she chose her handle t not glorify herself, but to glorify her beloved sweet Doxie friend. 🙂
That still touches me deeply to this day. ♥️
I, when I came to SKMB in Nov. 2007, chose Mother Wolf. Because my sun, my sweet little boy was only 6 years old at the time. And that name really told everyone who was so much, at that time.
I got that name from the character in Kipling's The Jungle Book. That I first read in 2nd grade, and the first couple of chapters of that book was the favorite parts for me.
My sun is grown now. When I returned to the SKMB, April 24, 2019, I took on WolfPhoenix......because I had risen and returned.
That name expressed what I was about at the time.
Now I am happy just to be Wolf.

As I already mentioned on the Welcome thread, I used the name KJ Norrbotten on SKMB. I always thought it was a stupid name, and considered changing it.
So it was inevitable, that I had to rename when I joined this fine messageboard.
I actually was going to pick a name Unlucky Alf, a character from a UK comedy series Fast Show.
Then, as I was reading a Wikipedia article about the Fast Show, I remembered they had this weird film noir parody called The Unpronounceables.
On second thought, that (Unlucky Alf) would have been a better name.

My Name on the SKMB was Sleeping Beauty. I Went by that because my Husband Calls me that Sometimes because he Say ima Beauty an I Sleep a lot. I Have this Words Tattoo on me as well on my Tummy to be Exact lol.
I also got the Nickname Dizzy from Him too Because he Says I Act like I am Dizzy Sometimes. It Fits me Well I Think an a good Word to Describe me.
My Real Name is Tonika though or Toni for Short if you Guys ever Want to Call me that I don't Mind at all

Sure-no problem! I guess I've made it pretty obvious by now that I'm a lifelong fan of the band Kiss. In their very early days, they were known as Wicked Lester. I changed it to Wicked Esther just for fun. (My first name isn't really Esther  ) |

I was fljoe0 on the SKMB and wireman here.
When I joined the SKMB, the fljoe0 was the first part of my email address at the time. I didn't plan on using that as a screen name but somehow in the registration process accidentally did. I didn't bother to change it and after a period of time when people got used to it, I didn't want to change it. So when I registered here, I chose a Stephen King character as my screen name.
