Yes I am a Skippy, have thought about for a long time a collaboration between Stephen King and Peter Weir. Reality is that where all getting a bit long in the tooth and it will not happen in my lifetime. I hope their kids met, that would be good.

That's pretty cool! Wasn't that a TV show a long time ago? (Skippy the Kangaroo)

Skippy was a T.V show that is known world wide and have been referred to as a Skippy before. Even though I`m not fond of the term, except that it is a way for others to distinguish your country of origin. Similar to Americans-Yaks, English-Poms, French-frogs, etc. It took me a while to get use to the nickname, Skippy, but am now proud to be called one.

What I've seen of Australia is pretty awesome!

That was a very good film

This is list of the films he directed 1974 - The Cars That Ate Paris 1989 - Dead Poets Society 1975 - Picnic At Hanging Rock 1990 - Green card 1977 - The Last Wave 1993 - Fearless 1979 - The Plumber T.V 1998 - The Truman Show 1981 - Gallipoli 2003 - Master And Commander 1982 - The Year Of Living Dangerously 2010 - The Way Back 1985 - Witness 1986 - The Mosquito Coast
Have see all these films except, The Way Back, which was apparently a box office flop. The films The Last Wave and The Plumber (was one) are 2 films that will stick in my head, for the unexpected.
