Ain’t no “if”, I’m a damn empath, like that Mantis from Guardians, or the scary chick from Teen Titans. Of course, I don’t look near as pretty being one, and quite frankly, it sucks. My mama was one, and older I get, more I realize I am one too. I used to think such concepts only bullsh*t, but no more.
It sucks feeling other folks stupid damn emotions, s’why I avoid crowds and drink so much. Drinkin blocks the stupid human radio waves (so does a lot of other substances, but I’m gettin too old for that), but ya can’t drink allatime.
The only benefit I’ve found is being an empath at a not so crowded theater, or at home with friends or family to watch some bitchin flick that I’ve seen 1000 times but they haven’t. I can feed off their ‘first time viewer’ vibe.
Jeeze, that all sounds nuts, but I don’t think it’s anything supernatural—just some heightened-awareness ability the science cats haven’t figured out yet. Anyway, it’s stupid and annoying and I’d trade it for a simple mutant healing factor any old day. ‘Nuff said! I can walk and chew gum at the same time...
I don't get a lot of deja vu feelings but every now and then I do - it's spooky!

I always thought it would be interesting to have Magneto's powers. It's been shown he can do more than destroy stuff (he can heal people by controlling the flow of their blood or removing tumors) but just think about being able to control all metal. And electricity, its created by magnetism....

Yes, to some degree. They showed more than once that Storm's Lightning has no affect on him. In the cartoon he even reminds her that electricity is mad with magnetism. |
