My God, whats the Weight of this Cup ?  15.5 kilograms The current Stanley Cup, topped with a copy of the original bowl, is made of a silver and nickel alloy; it has a height of 89.54 centimetres (35.25 inches) and weighs 15.5 kilograms (34.5 lb). Stanley Cup - Wikipedia en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stanley_CupI'm not s huge Caps fan, but they are considered a local team since we're so close to DC. I did watch the finals and was happy to see them win! |

Hi kurben,
No - no NHL at the moment but I think they are making plans to start up again with two major camps - one in Toronto for the Eastern division and the other in Edmonton for the West
Not sure but I think it's just in the planning stages.
So at least the Jets hockey games might be coming back (fingers crossed) - that is our team - the Winnipeg Jets!

August 1st is planned to be the beginning date of the playoffs. 12 teams from both conferences, with 4 best teams straight to second round, while teams 5 - 12 play off in the first round.
I just wonder when they're going to start the next season. Could be as late as January.
