I saw a woman carrying 2 Jumbo Packs of TP. Each pack has 24 Rolls. That`s enough for the entire bowel movement of a elephants whole life.
Here are a few pics
In the second picture this lady said she ordered 2000 rolls by mistake.

Panic buying has officially come to my neck of the woods. No canned goods, no meat, no dairy, bread etc. At least there is still beer. Scary stuff! Feel bad for the folks who actually need something and can’t get it...

Why do people take the toilet Papers away for? Because if you’re quarantined for any length of time in your home you’ll need it. Also, apparently a lot of tp is produced in China so the shipments aren’t flowing. Where do you live dizzy?

Wyoming has 2 cases as of this afternoon. One, 2 counties away from me, the other is on far end of state from me. One is reportedly doing well at home, one is hospitalized.
I am good on food/supplies until Wed. I am really hoping things calm down some by then and I can get my regular grocery shopping done.
My kids are on spring break this coming week. Rumors were flying they would be closing schools but the district put a notice out that they are not closing down at this time. School board will stay in contact with health dept and reassess every few days. I am guessing as long as no cases pop up here, school will resume as usual.
I am worried about Evan's graduation. If large gatherings are still a no-no then, no graduation. And we are about 99% sure we are pulling Ali from her DC trip. It is not til end of May. But I'm hearing up to 8 weeks of this madness before it starts slowing down and that is just too close. Hate to do it to her but better to have her here than end up quarantined in DC. 😳
Hubby and oldest are working but other than that we are just staying hunkered down at home.
Everyone stay safe. Be careful! Wash your hands!! Take your vitamins! ❤

BREAKING NEWS ...
John Travolta was hospitalized for suspected COVID-19, but doctors now confirm that it was only Saturday Night Fever, and they assure everyone that he is Staying Alive.
I'll uh... I'll see myself out, thanks.
Where's all the hand sanitizer and bum wipe?

So I noticed all the garlic bulbs are sold out at my local grocery store
Good news is that it tastes good
Bad news is:
"Can eating garlic help prevent infection with the new coronavirus?
Garlic is a healthy food that may have some antimicrobial properties. However, there is no evidence from the current outbreak that eating garlic has protected people from the new coronavirus."
The above was from the WHO website

Wow - the madness of the panic shopping!!! I thought I'd avoid it and click list at Kroger Thursday evening - my 6pm pick up was ready at 9pm. I felt so bad for the employees of Kroger - the parking lot has been packed since Thursday. I'm a good Costco/Sam's Club shopper so we always have toilet paper, paper towels and soap.
Our school spring break is next week and they've extended it a week - so we're out until Mar 30th. I currently know 4 people who may have CoVid19 (did they get the 19 from SK? Seriously ? of course the apocalypse will have a number - it will be 19!!). They have fever and dry hacky cough (my co-worker is one of them). Have been told by the drs not to come in to the office just yet. Treat symptoms at home - apparently there's a plan for testing the masses without risk of infecting more coming soon. I'm of the opinion that unless you are having respiratory distress - just stay home. Somehow, I'm the calm, level headed one in my circle. Who knew I'd ever be that for anyone?
I hope it's all over in time for Spring - Easter, Graduations, Confirmations, vacations!!! Maybe the crowd control will work - if everyone maintains social distance and most definitely stays home if they are sick. I think Italy is a good example of what could happen state by state if we don't try to contain it. Controlling the curve? They are calling it something like that. I worry about all the people who couldn't get out and buy food. I worry about the children who only get fed at school. I worry about the homeless. Look for opportunities to help where and how you are able - I promise I will. We have a food pantry for the needy where I work and I bet next week we'll get clients all day long. I hope we've got enough to last.
Wash your hands!

Sound advice Holly, I think the object for everyone at this stage is to slow down the spread of the infection to allow the emergency services time to treat any new cases, once hospitals don't get swamped with people things should remain manageable. A vaccine similar to the regular Flu shot is probably close to discovery. Stay calm, reduce your social activity involving large groups or gatherings and keep washing your hands with soap and water. This is just a variation of the flu, things will get better people, we just have to use our heads and follow the guidelines.

Sound advice, my friend. Well and simply put.
So, it officially hit here in Trinidad & Tobago on Thursday, which is where I live (it's in the Caribbean - Google it, you've got the time now). Only 2 cases reported so far. Schools will be closed for this week, and many people including myself will be home. The panic buying is just as stupid as I imagine it is by you folks.
Stay safe, stay calm, stick close to your loved ones and stay away from crowds as best you can.
On the plus side, I have the time to check in with you all more often. Yay.

The governor had a press conference about an hour ago. They are closing schools here for a week as well. Even though there is only one confirmed and one unconfirmed case statewide.
Children are supposed to stay away from the older population. Who do they think is going to watch those kids when the parents are at work? The retired grandparents, that's who.
And they are trying to make room in the hospitals "just in case." I have a 22 year old niece who has severe kidney issues who was suddenly discharged. She was supposed to be in the hospital for at least another 7-10 days and have surgery during that time. Now she is home, scared and in tremendous pain.
Wow, just wow.

Was that rain check made out of paper?
{Spoiler} Ouch - wouldn't that hurt? Maybe she could crumple it up a few times first smilie_sh_042
