Another random fact is ima optimist at heart. Always trying to stay positive   Wow - another "Pollyanna" (that's what they used to call a positive, upbeat girl;
There was a movie called Pollyanna and a book I think. I was like that when I was younger; I think as I got older I lost it a bit but I am working on getting it back now

Is it a bad thing? I think if I wasn't trying to stay ina postive way like that I would have just gave up a long time ago because its not been all fun believe me.  I try my best not to let bad stuff get to me one bit Neesy  .

Oh no! Of course not and I am sorry if my answer sounded a bit jaded.
We need more people who have a positive upbeat attitude; It's the old 'is the glass half full or is it half empty?'.

I was actually thinking about this before I went to sleep - that I should go back and explain myself. (But I was too tired to log back on) ZZZZZZ
Now it is the next day and I am feeling a little bit better.
I had some problems with a printer cartridge yesterday, which actually has nothing to do with this, but perhaps I was just upset over that. Did not mean to come across so pessimistic.

I was born in Fort Pierce, Florida in July in a hospital with no air conditioning. Poor mom.
I was born on the same day as Princess Di but she was not born in Fort Pierce.
Mom was in labor for something like 12 hours. I've told her I didn't have to be born in Fort Pierce, she had time to drive to West Palm Beach.

I am deathly afraid of flying. My daughter is going to Washington DC in May with her class and I cannot stand knowing she will be on an airplane. I would seriously rather deprive her of the incredible opportunity of this trip than have her on an airplane.

I normally just close my eyes grip the armrests and don't speak until we land and I'm on solid ground again. |

cat @notaro I am terrified of airplanes too (haven't been on one since 1998). I used to travel several times a year by plane, but have no intention of flying anymore.

If traveling to all US states is on your bucket list, make sure ND is dead last (or skipped entirely!). Maybe go to the SD border and just put your foot over the state line to say you've been here.
They actually have a t-shirt at the Fargo Convention & Visitors Bureau that has something about this being the last state visited printed on it. They also have the original wood chipper from the movie Fargo there as well. I told Ms. Mod about it, but I'm sure she's staying far away from here anyway!

I collect Sylvanian Families. {Spoiler}I'm also a My Little Pony collector (the originals only, I can't stand the new ones), but they are currently on a backburner. But since I'm already a pony collector since 1991, it feels wrong to not mention them too. But right now I'm mostly obsessed with Sylvanian Families. |
