Being the QB on a Super Bowl team is a big accomplishment. It's a very hard thing to do. Dan Marino only got to one.

Yes, his second year.
There was a good shot his first year but they got upset in the playoffs by Seattle. It was a brutal loss (and I was at that game in the old Orange Bowl). Seattle took a 4 point lead with around 2 or 3 minutes left. Plenty of time for Dan to bring them back. Seattle kicked off and Fulton Walker fumbled and lost the kickoff. The Dolphins D holds them to 3 plays and a FG and there is still time left on the clock and down by 7 points. Seattle kicks off and Fulton Walker fumbles again. He fumbled 2 consecutive kickoffs and Dan never got an opportunity to bring them back.
And they were in 2 AFC championship games during his years and lost.
Maybe the best team they had during his years was the year he tore his Achilles in the 5th game and derailed that season.
