Well, i know it was just a pre-season game,with backups so shouldn’t take too much from it,
but man, that was hard to look at. 
It is hard to not give the QB2 job to Darnold based on this one game.
I know Lance hasn't played much with us,
but in his 3rd year in the system he should look better.

I've read this yesterday, before i went to bed.
I'm not really surprised, but it feels kinda unreal.
We traded 3 picks for this guy, and now "Mr. Irrelevant"
(i don't like this name) is our starter and a former Jets QB
is our Backup.
Who would have thought ?!
But i give credit to the front office
for not trying to save face by putting Lance as QB2,
even if it makes them look bad.
Hope Lance can find a place in the league where he can actually
get experience instead of sitting on the bench . |

But i think another reason is, that Darnold has
has seen more in the NFL that he can share with Brock on a game to game basis.
When QB1 goes down he's just the better option to be thrust into a random game under chaotic situations. |
