Sport Events without fans always sucks. But i`m pretty glad that we can see some sports.
German Bundesliga will begin on september,18th.
And i´m glad to see the NFL is planning to start the season as scheduled.
diobolic His Majesty can you watch the games online for free ?
Just for the case they(German TV) don`t air the Jets Vs. 49ers Games on free-tv. Online for free? Not that I’m aware of. But I have heard you can somehow get to see them by doing something shady via what the military provides, but I would never do that. The most I’ve ever seen online is a play by place real time message type breakdown of what is happening, but no video. Anyway, the CBS channel I get (that provides the AFC games) rarely shows the Jets games. It's almost always the Steelers. I not them then the Chiefs, Raiders or Patriots. And they only show one game on Sundays when there is an early and late game. I think the owner of the local CBS channel likes golf more than football. I don't know why CBS doesn't force local affiliates to show two games... they pay a lot of money to telecast AFC games. If I want to see a Jets game I usually have to go to a sports bar.

Every Sunday, they show 3 full games on the local network channels. What I do, however, is subscribe to NFL Redzone, so I can see all the good parts from EVERY game being played on that day. I`m pretty sure these are the 3 games they show on free tv here. I`ve clicked "Fubo TV" on Redzone. Is this really a 7 day free trial ?

They should show the Jets/49ers game. They usually show a game with a team that has a good chance of making it far in the playoffs. And the game will have one of those teams... and it isn't the Jets.

I'll see the Packer Game. Those in Arizona won't. The only game everyone will universally see is the Sunday Night game in NBC.
Redzone is an add-on to Fubo and Sling TV. I get it as an add on to my Spectrum cable streaming service.

Googled Redzone and fubo tv was the only one who provides a 7 day trial.

You camp at a table where you’re close to the game you want to see and order drinks an food. Does Germany have anything like that? The key is pacing yourself on the drinks so you're not falling over drunk by halftime.

Yap, we too have these sports bars . They show Soccer, and news from every kind of sport.
And they show live games, but only soccer.
A Bar with a Football(NFL) Live Feed ? Next to impossible.

Frank, I looked this up…
How can I watch NFL games in Germany?
Since the 2015/2016 season, the games of the NFL can finally be seen regularly on German Free TV. The special interest channel ProSieben MAXX broadcasts every Sunday from 18:30 two games live from the stadiums of the USA. The stream on ran.de also features another parallel game.
Also found this. A bit pricey but it does have a 7 day free trial. www.expressvpn.com/stream-sports/nfl/

Yes, i always watch the games on Pro Sieben Maxx. Nowadays they broadcast three games on sunday and also one College Football match on saturday.
I have checked your link and found this:
Watch NFL streams live on Stadium
Price: Free
Channels: Stadium
Stadium offers select NFL games live. You can also watch college football, college basketball, NBA, and NHL games on Stadium. Check the official schedule to know when to watch. The best part? It’s completely free!
Ever heard about this ?

Well, no Jets game on my channels this weekend. No 49ers either. Eagles game, Steelers game, Bucs game (damn Brady is still making me not see the Jets), Giants game and Bengals game. Nearest teams to me (except for the Bucs), but not the Jets which is second closest to me after the Eagles. 🤬

49ers vs Cardinals
When is Kickoff time ?
NFL.com says it`s 7:00 p.m CEST That would be 1:00 p.m EDT is this correct ?

I have to say that after watching the first Sunday of the season, I do not mind fan-less stadiums at all. I didn't even mind the fake crowd noise. It did not hamper my enjoyment of the day one iota.

I have heard about that sound concept (70dB fake crowd). Do they use this in a stadium with a limited number of attendees ?

I have heard about that sound concept (70dB fake crowd). Do they use this in a stadium with a limited number of attendees ? Of all the games yesterday, only one (Jacksonville) had fans, and even then the stands were sparely populated.
The fake crowd noise soundtrack was played over the rest of the games, with no fans in the stands. It was worth a chuckle when they showed the empty seats, but for the most part, the cameras were focused on the field, so you didn’t see the empty seats most of the time. In those cases, the fake noise was a very effective deception. I felt I was watching normal pre-covid football. As I mentioned, the fake noise did not detract from my enjoyment one single bit.

This Sunday, 1 pm my time. Jets versus 49ers. It may get testy in here between Frank and myself if we're both drinking whiskey. Anyone went to serve as a referee and designated driver? smilie_tv_26
