.) We Have Always Lived in the Castle (2018). Mystery/Thriller. I had high hopes for this movie because I like Taissa Farmiga. A disappointment. I can't believe this was rated the same as In the Tall Grass on IMdB! Not even in the same realm IMHO. Wow. I had the opposite reaction. I hated In the Tall Grass...couldn't finish. I've watched We Have Always Lived in the Castle twice and want to watch it again. I'm sure it had something to do with my expectations. At the beginning of In the Tall Grass, I thought I would get bored and wouldn't like it. It surprised me. I went into We Have Always Lived in the Castle with such high hopes that it felt like a let down. (If that makes sense.) Maybe I'll watch it again in the future and feel completely different about it. That happens to me a lot with books and movies. My mindset at the time factors greatly into my opinions.

Yeah, I've revisited some movies and ended up changing my opinions. I just thought In the Tall Grass was a bland (and worse) variation of Children of the Corn. Should I have watched it all the way through? From what you and Steffen are saying, I think I must have missed an important element.

.) Out of the Dark (2014). Horror/Thriller. Not the best movie, but it had a decent storyline with some very scary elements. Good ending.

-2). (A lot of you know how I feel about the actual number.) St. Agatha (2018). Interesting story, but it didn't deliver. I decided to file my nails during the last 15 minutes.

.) Anna - Psychological thriller. Excellent movie. Taissa Farmiga is fantastic. Unique story that kept me guessing until the very end.

.) The Witch Files (2018). Horror/Thriller. Bad rip-off of The Craft meets Blair Witch.

.) Devil's Gate (2017). Horror/Sci-Fi/Thriller. Set in ND. Better than I thought it would be, even though it didn't receive very good reviews.

What was (is) yours? The first one is the best for me Doc but part three is a close second, I remember going to see it in the cinema when it was released and the 3D was just fantastic, granted the acting is quite bad but these things were never about the acting were they? Richard Brooker was the best Jason ever!!!

.) Spinning Man (2018). Thriller/Mystery. Guy Pearce's performance was the best part of this movie. Still a bit confused by the ending, but at least it was unexpected.

.) Circle (2015). Thriller/Mystery. Also categorized as "horror," even though it's not gory at all. Re-watch. I love this movie - third time I've seen it. A very good psychological thriller. The second time I watched it, I had some kind of epiphany about the ending. Too bad I don't remember and didn't experience it this time around. Still a good flick. A group of people have to decide who is most worthy of living. Raises many questions and arguments about what defines a person's worth.

.) Taking Lives (2004). Thriller/Crime Drama. Re-watch. Ethan Hawke is excellent in this movie IMHO. There are parts that aren't great, but even after multiple viewings (knowing all the plot twists) the ending is very well done.
