Am I that damn strange, I don't make sense to anyone but me? 😄 ....probably T.S. Eliot said “Genuine poetry can communicate before it is understood.” Unfortunately for me in school I got an ‘D-’ in my poetry class and only a ‘D+’ in the communications class. Alas, the double dish of disfunctionality in understanding poetry.
Okay... “In the Most Just, he did trust.”
‘Most Just’ capitalized? A person’s name? A proper noun? A title? An event? A play on words?
My head hurts... too much damn thinkin' (rofl)
But to steal a line in rate-a-record from American Bandstand.... "It's got a good beat and you can dance to it".

Oh! Okay. I love that T.S. Eliot quote. Thank you Dio. 😊
The 'Most Just' refers to Christ crucified. 🙂 St. Dismas was the good thief, patron saint of prisoners. Gesmus was the other thief.
Makes more sense now? 🙂

....have a beautiful piece of work from one of our tet - mates🙂 {badbadbad wolf might get severely punished and Hulked out on for posting it ..don't care. I can take it! 😋🐺}.......
"Ode To The Mouse"
Found a little mouse today.
She/he was sitting on the curb and didn't move
even when i was right next to it.
My first thought was, it is dead but when i
touched it, it looked at me with narrow eyes.
I had an old Mask in my bag and i used it
to take my little new friend to the lake.
I really hope she/he made it.

Dio the diobolic , it's been quite awhile since you've been around here, don't miss this poem Frank wrote .....with Jack! bokoebaFTerAfwUuywKb

You have the most lavish and luxurious loquacious circumlocutions around Locutus! (a nice way to compliment your diarrhea of the mouth. 😄😉) Thanks, but I don't need me no damn homework. Nope, not gonna look up all those words... no way... no how! Lol! Okay, you don't have to. (I think Frank is pretending to not hear and know us right now! 😢 I don't blame him. 😊😉)

I know you're just kiddin' here 😊 ...but Noooo....that would just be silly presumptuous, pretentious, know-it-all over kill... horseshite. Lol.
God knows there are SO many people here that are far, far, FAR better educated and well read than I AM. You're one of them dipsh!t. 🤨😂 😄😘
But sometimes I wish people would ask, like you did, if they ever wanted to. Especially with poems like "The Queen Of Roses" and "The Joker Jack" (for a couple of examples). There are references from MANY places and things in those 2. And even a sort of riddle (that I had not intended to be mysterious at all) All, I thought most would get/understand. None are anything I consider to be particularly obscure. But maybe I am wrong about that.
I love this thread for the poetry (sure do miss wolfbear and the other poets/writers around here a054 ), but also love it for the talk about poetry.
Thank you Dio. 😊
Dio the diobolic , it's been quite awhile since you've been around here, don't miss this poem Frank wrote .....with Jack! I like it, also. So that's what happens when you share your Jack with a mouse? Now I want to name Frank's little friend "Jack". He said he didn't know if the furbaby was a he or a she.😊
Makes me think of Jack/Kira in "Pitch Black", and Jack the dog in "The Lake House", Commander osnafrank .😊
Godspeed little Jack! Stay safe and happy, St. Francis (and Frank the Great) are watching over you. 😊
