I'm going to take another gander at his books when I head to the bookstore next week. King, Koontz, Koryta. They're all right there. I'm looking for Shadowfires and From the Corner of His Eye and anything in the Jane Hawk series. Any recommendations? I want to read some old ones again: Strangers, House of Thunder, Shattered, and Whispers. I don't remember much about them. I liked Hideaway, too. I need to revisit Odd Thomas. What about The Good Guy or The Husband? Give me some guidance here, folks. Thanks.

I haven't read some of the books you listed. Hideaway is a definite favorite. I am only halfway through the Odd Thomas series (think I got to Odd Interlude). Wasn't a fan of the Frankenstein books. But I only read one, so maybe didn't give them a fair shot. I think I might have The Husband around here somewhere on the TBR pile.

The last Koontz titles I read were the two you sent me: Tick Tock and The Taking. The former being the most entertaining. I didn't care for the Frankenstein series, either. I forgot to mention that I like the Christopher Snow series: Fear Nothing and Seize the Night. I don't think I finished By the Light of the Silvery Moon or One Door Away From Heaven. I may look for those, too. Wow, so many more are popping to mind...Winter Moon, False Memory, Intensity. Haven't read those.
It seems like all his books relate to aliens or evil government agents. All his characters are on the run. Did you read Cold Fire? Midnight? Besides Strangers, these two are some of my favorites.

I don't think I've read Cold Fire or Midnight. The last Koontz book I read was One Door Away from Heaven. That one was bizarre, kind of like Tick Tock and I liked it because I couldn't quite figure out how the storylines were going to tie together. It's been a very long time since I read Intensity. I might have that one around here somewhere as well as One Door Away from Heaven (unless I donated it). Need to look around. If I still have them, I would be more than happy to send them to you.

At least let me get these two shipped to you first, Morgan! LOL. I'm probably going to do that a week from tomorrow.

My mom says I have enough books to open a used bookstore.

I need to spend an entire day organizing and logging what I have - 99% of them are SK books! It probably looks like an episode of Hoarders in there!

Watchers is my favorite. Hideaway and the Odd Thomas books are good too (still have a few to finish). The Taking, Tick Tock and One Door Away from Heaven were decent reads, but it took me a while to get invested in the stories.

I havenโt read anything by DK yet. My Dad, who sends a lot of good book suggestions my way, says I should read The Husband.
I saw that a few people mentioned it in this thread. Did any of you get to it?
