Have you tried this sleep-aid? I have been doing fine using melatonin but I haven't ruled out using Ambien or Lunesta if insomnia kicks in again this winter. Hopefully it won't come to that. Thousands have reported incidents where they do things in a hypnotic state of sleep and don't remember any of it the next day. (I witnessed this with a family member and they woke up to a picnic of sandwiches in the refrigerator, egg shells in the sink. She had no memory of it.) People do meticulous things,as they'd do awake, including texting, driving, and even having conversations. I find this alarming. Please share your experiences below. Thanks.

My mom gave me one to make me sleep at my grandmother's haunted house several years ago. It just zonked me for the night. I didn't do anything weird. However, my co-worker called me around 10pm one night and said she was out in her backyard talking to angels. It freaked me out. The next morning she didn't remember it at all, but I told her to check her caller ID, and she saw it was so. And my friend's husband got up in the middle of the night and was putting on lipstick in front of the mirror.
But both of those folks take Ambien with regularity - I think the occasional pill would be fine.
My son struggles with insomnia - and I did when I was younger. It finally left me alone around 30.

Maybe she was listening to The Black Crows before bed, LOL. And your friend's husband putting on lipstick in the middle of the night...wow. Did she laugh or was she worried? s015

Before reading this I am not a doctor and am on other meds. Everybody reacts differently and understand if this post is removed. Ambiem have heard of, I think it is like stillnox here. I had sleep problems about 4 years ago, until the right meds. Back then tried my many different meds, that did not work, I explained to a doctor that my lack of sleep was becoming dangerous to myself and others. He did give me something that wiped me out and did allow me much needed sleep. After a couple of months when I woke up in the mornings my legs, feet, arms, hands or all would be sore. While joking to a person about sleep walking, we worked out that I lived by myself and was damaging myself before I went to bed and had no memory of it , the med was temazapan. The med I`m on now is called mirtazapine, which allows sleep with no major side affects and for me it works.

I have three different kinds of sleeping tablets. Try not to take too much as i dont want to be dependent on them or so much that the effect wears off. The body gets used to it. I have Melatonin. Works as long as i dont take it often, then it seems to stop to have effect. I also have Imovane, the active substance in that pill is called Zopiklon. It is a pill that is meant to get you to sleep. My problem with that is that after it wears off after 3-4 hours i often wake up and cant get to sleep again. The third is Propavan. The active ingredient is Propiomazin. It gives you 8 hours at least if you fall asleep. The problem is to fall asleep so it can start working. The only failsafe method i have discovered of going to sleep is one Imovane and one Propavan. The first gets me to sleep and the second gives me 8 hours. But its not something i can do everyday, just once in a while. The problem with sleeping pills like that is that if you take too many, like 10 or 20 pills instead of one you can kill yourself. Eternal sleep kind of. So they are not prescribed to everybody. You need a prescription from a doctor to get them. After 35 i found my sleeping problems actually increased. I had smaller problems it with during university and early worklife than now.
