This could be a tricky one to get right, basically it'll be a lot of actors walking along in pairs or groups talking, with the right actors it could be gripping, with the wrong ones it could be boring beyond belief.

Carefully timed flashbacks could be the key ingredient to making it work. There has to be something to counterbalance the momentum of The Walk, thus creating tension. Otherwise, it would fail, as you intimated.

I hope this project is going on as planned. I couldn't find any updates on it.

I hope this project is going on as planned. I couldn't find any updates on it. Me neither. Film this book is a major challenge. I think it could work with young, unknown actors but it´s tricky.

If they ever go ahead with the screen adaptation, this might be the saddest SK movie ever. Reading the novel is one thing, but actually seeing it....ooh, that could be depressing.
