I'm afraid we might never see it unless it goes right to streaming services.
They really haven't begun anything yet so theaters will be open by the time it is released. However, many films are going to be released exclusively to HBO/Max but its mostly films that have had be put in the freezer for awhile due to the pandemic, most films that are just starting to shoot have every intention of being released in the theater. If people aren't stupid and get the vaccine when its available, over 100 million in the US should be vaccinated by the end of January, and they've already started vaccinating in the UK. So I'd say by spring a lot of things will be opened again the question is, did too many get spoiled streaming new films rather than having to go to the theater. A lot of films really don't need the HUGE screen but many do, I mean a Furious film is 10x better on a big screen, but Doctor Sleep, no point, its more substance than action.
