She is the one married to Owen King, isn't she?
I was thinking about Joe Hill and how he recently got married to a British girl - I hope they are both happy! (Probably still in the honeymoon stage)
Yes, Owen's wife.
Wishing Joe all the best in his new marriage. I saw a wedding pic in his newsletter. His wife must be wicked smart (smaht) too! I did not know Joe Hill had a newsletter - that's news to me (sorry for that pun)

Pretty sure I signed up for the email updates on his website a long time ago. He has a great sense of humor (like his dad!).

Eight pages in and already "animal stuff." Don't know if I can handle that right now. Might have to set this one aside.

Re-reading Insomnia. Found one of my paperback copies of Pet Sematary today and hope to start a re-read in the next few weeks. I'm scared.

There's been much discussion about Deliverance on the SKMB. I've never read the book or seen the movie. Found a used paperback online at a reasonable price and think I should order it.

I finished The Outsider last night. Don't read this until you finish the Mr. Mercedes trilogy, End of Watch in particular. HUGE spoilers!!
(I read the first two, but didn't finish EOW.)
Back to my Insomnia re-read. I'm only about 150 pages into it.

Just started the book "Julie and Julia" - we saw the movie recently so I got the book from the library.
So far it is really good and I like her style of writing.
Hey - what time is it in Germany? It is 1:41 p.m. so must be 8:41 over there?
Hi Frank! 77 n055
By the way, the first recipe she tried out of "Mastering the Art of French Cooking" was a potato and leek soup. Andy says he will make that for me today.

Hey neesy it's 11:12 p.m. right now Andy is sort of watching a Harry Potter marathon on the Space Channel right now but he asked me if I wanted to go out today - we might go to the park or down to The Forks to get out and about. We need some fresh air and sunshine - it's a beautiful day here today.
Oh yes - by the way I realize I am off topic - sorry!
Who is the author of the book "The Vagrant"?

Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix (in Dutch). I'm not one of those rabid Potter heads, but I think the stories are amazing. I'm still quite new to the world of Harry Potter (yes, I do live under a rock ), but I really love it. The whole wizard world, everything. Laugh at me all you want, but I believe a world like that could exist somewhere.

Unfortunately that’s what I did, he really should’ve advertised it as a loose sequel to the Bill Hodges trilogy.

I just read "The Swimmer" by John Cheever
- funny little short story (funny weird, not funny ha-ha)
This is the story that movie with Burt Lancaster was based on
Left me with an unsettling feeling
